Just watched Northern Soul again on DVD, but only just noticed that there is a framed picture of a Dead Man's Shoes still (the axe wielding one) in the Sherbert's hallway.
You can see it when Mark is let into the house at the end.
Weird how you don't notice these things, and then you wonder how you ever missed it.

Haha, I love Northern Soul, especially the fact that whenever Toby's doing something daft in a scene, you can hear Shane doing a weezy laugh in the background.
Aah... true "don't give a f*ck" film making, and all the better for it.

Nearly Sh*t myself laughing at Toby eating that chocolate at the start. Great music too just ordered the Clayhill album. ;D

I still laugh me guts out at that bloody porno/strangle shot. He's only been left home two hours and he's pulling his pud under a bridge. I literally pissed me kecks the day we shot that scene.

Speaking of wrestling did Toby have any kind of training before he went in the ring, or did that bloke really twat him? Because if it was for real it looked like it bloody hurt.

I pretented to Toby that we were just going to watch a match. Little did he know he would wrestle one of Britains best new wrestlers. He only had about 4 mins to prepare before he got a very 'real' good hiding.

just got round to watching this today. funny as f**k!
that montage after leaving home is just the funniest stuff i've seen in ages. a great light hearted treat to include on the dvd.
can't wait for a collection of shorts on dvd that have so far been unavailable.

My favourite bits in Northern Soul are when Toby is stuffing his face with chocolate cake and the bit where he is rubbing the porno mag on his stomach. Gets me giggling every time!! It must have been difficult trying to keep a straight face!
