Im stuck at work all day in my shop and even though i try to write as much as poss i usually end up on the net. I love this site but we need more members to chat/argue/fall in love with ( delete as appropriate ) Also is this just a hobby for you? are you a film maker/writer? Keep up the good work mate, i'm off to buy dead man's..... on dvd.

Hello there.

This site is just a hobby I guess. I got the first version of the site online in the middle of October last year and I was lucky enough to be contacted by Shane just a couple of weeks later!
I'm not a writer or film-maker (well, I have made one, no-budget short a few years back. Not for college or anything, just for the amusement of all those involved).

This new forum has only been up since Sunday, and has 15 members as I write this. Not too bad going, but I agree, we need more if we want regular chat/arguments/punch-ups (delete as applicable).
If you know of any more ways to promote the site, let me know. In the meantime, you may want to 'bump' the 'Shane Meadows website' post on the IMDB Dead Man's Shoes board! ahem..... Thanks mate!

The amount of posting on this message board is growing pretty swiftly, which can only be a good thing. Seems like the new (and far superior) forum is encouraging more chat.
