I hear that in Nottingham City Centre there going to be putting up a Statue of another Drunken Bum "Gazza" he'll go next to "Clough" In the Geordie Mackem hall of famous drunks. This is entirely made up isn't it? The Pies are never gonna get their mits on the European Cup. Let it go; its time to move on ;D What makes you think its untrue? If you can put up a statue for one drunk why not another? ;D ;D

Surprised there isn't a heated debate on here about FIFA/the world cup bid. Personally, I think it was 'unfortunate' that Panorama/Times etc decided to publically slag off FIFA in the run-up to the decision (afterwards would have been fine ), but since we will not have an opportunity to bid again until 2022, by which time none of the current incumbents will be around, our media dogs should now declare open season on their corrupt asses. What do you think?

Theres used to be a Stockport lad who posted on here. Fair play to your fans for coming down to Npton on a freezing afternoon and singing their hearts out all game. This despite their team looking decidedly non league. Keep the faith, form is fleeting, the fans are there forever!

Well what a bloody weird year for the Villa?!
The start of this year we were sat in the top six, were in a cup final, champions leauge was destined to happen...
Then the summer came and between Martin O Neil and James Milner we got fucked over. Now I know all the blame can't be solely put on one player, but Milner leaving was the catalyst for O'Neil leaving and putting us in the shit. O'Neil knew exactly what he was doing too, leaving it untill a few days before the start of the season to leave... leaving us in a state of shock and panic. As for Milner his greed hasn't bode him very well, hes gone from being a starting player to a bench warmer. Mancini won't even play him in his best postion the few occasions he gets on the field. Hope he's happy, I mean sure they could win the leauge but he's hardly contributed to it has he?
So then the Villa get Houiller in charge... The club suddenly goes in to meltdown. Ireland, Dunne, Carew, Friedel, Young all want to leave... He signs Robert Pires, who is quite frankly past it, and plays him ahead of the likes of Reo-Coker. I honestly don't know what to think... I just hope he brings in the right players in January and sorts us out of this rut.
The only postives to come out of Villa this season are: Marc Albrighton (A future England international im sure!), Barry Bannan (Current Scottish international), Eric Lijach (Future US international) and Jonathon Hogg. all under 21.
UTV.

Went up to Sunderland yesterday to see the Mighty Magpies show these Premier softies how it's done. Sad news is Forest also crept through to the next round still todays draw could put the Magpies up against the other lot from our City if so once again we'll be crowned Kings of the City................Bring it on
Fattaix..........I hear Liverpool are interested in Albrighton

Forest hit their best run of form all season.
Congratulations to Notts, impeccible result. Would have loved to have finally seen the All Nottingham Derby, but again its not to be. Hopefully Notts will reach the 3rd round again next season and we can all cross our fingers once more.
