I was a little disapointed with a few scenes because i felt id seen too much of them already in all the tv previews, interviews and behind the scenes shows. My own fault for watching them i guess! I hate watching those things before watching the film, always spoils it, i always avoid them now unless i've seen the film.

Another thing I'll say is there is a god awful cameo by Richard Branson - ever heard of the word inconspicuous Richard?........thought not. Horrid isnt it? he's just standing there arms crossed, and i swear he's looking straight into the camera.. rubbish.

I quite like Casino Royale and I have previously always disliked Bond. I give full credit to Daniel Craig and the script!
Wasn't Branson being frisked at airport security (the reason he is stood still), although for some reason I thought I remembered him with his arms aloft. The action set-piece at the end was a bit of a let-down which didn't match the ones that came before. That end set-piece was perfect for a Tomb Raider film though... those sneaky Venice levels of old!
Enjoyed the poker game even though it goes on for hours.
Plenty of Sony product placement, but the stupidest product placement bit was on the train when Bond's wrist-watch is crow-barred into the banter from out of nowhere!
By the way, I really didn't like Enduring Love, and that was mostly down to Daniel Craigs character being horrendously unlikeable. I wished the worst on him from early in the film.

yeah the product placement pissed me off as well dave, especially as i hate sony! ha ha. I think the best action sequence of the whole film was the first one, with the free runner just being awesome, and bond doing his best to catch up.
The poker game was really long yeah.. and i don't understand poker, but i still enjoyed it, worked well.

I didn't mind Bransons cameo, fair play to the fella if hes going to put some money in, why not ask for a cameo, although I'm sure he was offered it. I bet you'd all be cumming your pants if it was Bruce Cambell.

whos Peirce Branson?! I'm sure you meant Bronson... and No he isnt in it. Sorry Hyde would you preferee Jhonny Knoxville? I'm sure you meant Brosnan! It was Richard "Virgin" Branson in the film. Here's an 'hilarious' Pierce Brosnan anecdote! When I worked at the Robins Cinema in Bath, Mr Brosnan watched Snatch there one day. After the screening, one of our ushers wanted to get his autograph, and Mr Brosnan obliged. The usher couldn't find anything good to sign, so he got Mr Brosnan to sign the front of a leaflet about the film Hollow Man! haha... oh how the usher in question kicked himself after the event, when he realised that in our rack of free postcards (that cinemas did more of then) was a postcard which just said "Shaken and not stirred" on the front of it in big letters. He didn't live that down for a while. hahah Hollow Man booklet signed by Pierce Brosnan... what's that got to be worth?
