Will TIE get a general release i.e in the multiplexes or will it be an independent cinema jobbie. I was lucky enough to see Romeo Brass when it first came out in our local independent cinema. Hope TIE gets a bigger audience though because it deserves it

The UK release is penciled in for April 2007.
No idea if it will be a multiplex or more independent release. I reckon this one could take on the multiplexes and win!

Optimum (who are releasing the pic) are a so much bigger company now - they were recently bought by the French giant, Canal+, so they'll have a lot more dough at their disposal. I definitely think the film has cross-over potential, witout a doubt.

Then I'l have half of Nottingham seeing it.. Where as I'm gonna find it really tough persuading people to get on down to the Broadway.. If anyone has any slight information on this .. Don't hesitate to inform!

Shane was telling me that there are now going to be 100 prints going out during the theatrical release, whereas for DMS there were only 30.
