tonight, i have recieved confirmation that "TIE" will be screened in grimsby on 10-04-2007 this is a huge thing for grimsby as all the local press have gone wild for tommo and this will give the locals a chance to see what all the fuss is about, i will post any feedback.............whichever way it goes

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but I've been looking for some information after reading an article in the Grimsby Telegraph this week....
The article is about the pending closure of Whitgift Theatre/Cinema. I noticed it because this is where my shitty short film was shown and also they had a picture of Tommo and it said that the world premier of This is England was there... I'm sure it did... now I'm doubting myself.
Whether that's true or not it's a shame this cinema is closing, apparently they needed 10k a year extra funding and they haven't been able to find it.
