Is it just me, or is television getting worse, especially on Saturday evenings?Talentless talent shows judged by people you'd happily punch in the face. Glad I can watch films on the laptop! Am I right, or just Victor Meldrew?

Friday nights are pretty rubbish too, used to be loads on a few years ago, now it's all bloody Big Brother!! At least with talent shows there's a point (though sometimes a lack of talent!!), BB has nothing to offer anyone. And there are worse people to be than Victor Meldrew...

Hi Amy. Good point. Incidentally, did you know something ironic about Big Brother? It's produced by someone called Bazalgete. His Great grandfather engineered the great sewage system for London. Grandad clears away the crap, Grandson replaces it!

Mad Men's DVD release is tomorrow. That's the last TV series I sat down to watch every week. Any good Tv seems to get pushed to the sattelite channels whilst terrestrial comes up with Doctor Who spin-offs and clones.
Bonekickers? Shitkickers, more like. The BBC used to really know how to pick a series. Now they're content to pick Marias, Olivers, Jasons and John Barrowmans.

There seems to be this love affair with all things Lloyd-Webber too. I seem to remember the man saying he'd leave Britain if we elected Labour in '97. Funny thing is, he's still around, and still Annoying. Must be great to get weeks and weeks of 'primetime' exposure for your new guaranteed box-office hit show!

You'd think ITV would've given the whole 'voting for things' a kiss of death but all it takes is for an Ant and Dec apology and a phone number to sort it.
We need a proper epic series. Ever notice how American seasons last 20-odd episodes?

I gave up TV. To much crap and stuff that dont interrests me but i keep watching it. For some reason, i hang on the dumbest show´s ever. I mean, Family Guy is cool, American Dad too but why the heck i am watching Fist of Zen? Ah, and by the way. If TV bores you, watch Donnie Darko

Nah, TV > Explanations about Time Travel
Just get DVD boxsets of all the good TV and that'll see you through.

Ever notice how American seasons last 20-odd episodes? Yeah, but our stuff isn't that much better -- a lot of it is just reality crap.

That wasn't a criticism. I love the extended feel of US runs. UK series are typically about 6 episodes.

i just came home from work the other day, absolutely knackerd before i had to go back out to work made some food and sat on the sofa, my brother was watching a show called The Sunday Night Project
this show is the worst thing i have ever seen all the audience do i clap and scream and all the jokes weren't funny in the slightest and brother is laughing away - at that moment i felt ashamed to be related to him

It's a horrible concept for a horrible demographic. Spotted Mad Men in ASDA today. No prices on the buggers, though.

I'm not a fan of TV. All I watch is Neighbours... - that's even shit but good for a laugh- and good comedy shows. Rest of the time its video games, internet and ACTUAL LIFE for me!

on the flip side though imagine if TV was just as you wanted it with good stuff on all the time, you'd never leave the house! I barley even watch it to be honest
