I keep thinking this must have been asked on here before.. only I can't recall it?! ..
Your favourite Actor and Actress.
So, no "I can't decide between.." or "I havn't got just one favourite"..
For each sex, I want it narrowed to just one.
-----------
Wanted to put De Niro, Nicholsen, Considine, Oldman, Seymour-Hoffman, Dench, Depp, Mckellen.. BUT
Actor = Daniel Day-Lewis Actress = Hilary Swank

I don't really do actors or actresses. I'm more of a directors kind of guy...
But at a push...
Actor: Al Pa
Hold on a mo! Isn't the whole actor/actress thing old hat? Should it not be male and female actor?
Man actor: Michael Caine Woman actor: Jodie Foster (Except for the last ten or so years)

Yeah, "Actress" is apparently sexist.
Erm, I'm a Director kind of person too. Actors have a little bit of influence on my decisions but not much.
Cillian Murphy Penelope Cruz

Oh come on Kezz, this is impossible. When? Contemporary? Back in the day? Character actors? Big star/screen presence? I'm going to have such a hard time with this one, I'll probably not make a choice, but I see where you're coming from with Johnny Depp GR. Probably not my favourite actor (although he is undisputably one of the most beautiful things on the planet-oh, come on most on the bloke's on here wouldn't say no ) I like him (in the way I like Springsteen) and admire the choices he's made. And he's better than a lot of people give him credit for when you think about the range of things...from Ed Wood...to Gilbert Grape..to Donnie Brasco.. to Pirates. The 'price' of making those choices is some pretty bad stuff along the way too (The Astronaut's Wife...what was that?). But, over the long term, when people look back at the 80s to 00s period, I kind of think he'll come pretty near the top of the pile...he's managed to be both a big star icon and a small time indie/cult figure...that is pretty impressive. So, not sure I agree, but good choice nonetheless ;D

I hate that I can pick only one. Paddy Considine (how can he not be?) Jennifer Connelly (I was sold since Phenomena all those years back.) (and I still love you, Liev Schreiber, but uh... it's Paddy, ffs! )

Actor: Gary Oldman Actress: Julianne Moore
Easy peasy. Though close seconds on actor are Tony Leung, Paddy Considine and Daniel Day Lewis. I love Toshiro Mifune as well, as pretentious as that sounds.
