I know they arent great but have any of you seen Shooting fish, Acid house, twin town and Shallow grave? all good films worth a comment and you cant fault the original Alfie and Get Carter either. Must say although Danny Dyer is an absolute legend I would rather eat my own penis raw than sit through that shambles 'The Business' again.

LOL...You'd rather eat your own....That's original (And painful sounding) All the films you mentioned were great, but I'd have to say, without a doubt my top five are (In no particular order, of course!) Snatch, A Clockwork Orange, Trainspotting, The Italian Job (original, people!) and...Shooting Fish. Great, wonderful films

Snatch always gets really slated (especially by Mark Kermode) but I really like it. Plus I work right by what was Doug the Head's jewlers! I dont know about Ritchies new effort though.

I dpn't care what anyone says, I loved Snatch, I was a huge fan of Lock Stock.. And come on, Jason Statham? The women on this board appreciate where I'm coming from on that one Haven't heard too much on Revolver, I'll go see it, if it's anything like Snatch, I'm sure I'll love it!

Im really fond of Pawel Pawilikowski latest films, both starring good old 'sidine, 'Last Resort' and "My summer of love'. Think they are such a joy to watch, especially when it comes to photography and art direction.
I also adore anything with Ray Winstone in it (although there are a few exceptions). Has anyone seen 'The war zone' directed by Tim Roth? One of the most truly affecting films I have ever seen.

For me, it's a toss up between 'The Third Man', 'The Red Shoes', 'Dr.Strangelove', 'Peeping Tom', 'Lawrence Of Arabia', '2001:A Space Oddysey' and 'The Thief Of Bagdad'. Oh, and, 'A Matter Of Life and Death'. All of them sheer original genius and better than sex.
