my bro' got me an mp3 cd with all the beatles albums on for my b'day which has confirmed, the annoying fact considering everybody thinks it, that they are the best band in the world ever.
what does everyone else think?
mr meadows might suggest that clayhill are worthier of the title 'best band in the world ever' but i'm sticking with the beatles....

The Dillinger Escape Plan are the best band ever I'm afraid! ;D My favourite band. Here's an NME review: 'F**k those Beatles squares: New Jersey's Dillinger Escape Plan are incontrovertibly the greatest band the world has ever seen.' - NME Although I guarantee that most people who listen to them will think they are the worst band ever. It's a funny old world. I've seen them live three times now. Can't wait to see them again.

Sorry fellas but my money either sides with The Clash or The Smiths.

the best ten albums ever made [in a particular order]
1.) Ok Computer - Radiohead 2.) Rubber soul - The Beatles 3.) The Soft Bulletin - The Flaming Lips 4.) Blue Album - Weezer 5.) The Beatles - The Beatles 6.) Figure 8 - Elliott smith 7.) Emperor Tomato Ketchup - Stereolab 8.) Pet Sounds - The Beach Boys 9.) Slow Riot for Zero Canada - Godspeed You Black Emperor! 10.) Yankee Hotel Foxtrot - Wilco
i would have put rubber soul as number one but i was swimming around in my dad's testicles when it came out!

I think Blur needs to be struck off this list Morell.
Whats the difference between God and the Bono?
God doesn't walk around thinking he's Bono.

The Smiths! Oh yeah.. agree with that!
No Nirvana mentions? I can't say I'm a big fan, but they usually crop up in such discussions.
Blur? What about Oasis then? Well no perhaps not. I still quite like them, although that Lyla single is truly awful in my opinion.
