Anyone else like the look of this? Keep seeing the trailer at work and it looks like it could be hilarious!
Based on some bizarre 18th century novel (or so I have heard), it stars Steve Coogan, Rob Brydon in the main roles, but there are also a whole host of other Brit faces in it (oh, and Gillian Anderson too). Everyone in it plays themselves as they are all making a film. The trailer is full of great naturally funny exchanges between Coogan and Brydon.
The whole story seems a bizarre mish mash of stuff (which I hear is what the book is like), but I'm keen on it after seeing the great dialogue in the trailer. Looks like it is partially improvised to me.... which is a good thing when in safe hands!
Anyway, looks like Michael Winterbottom has got that porn film out of his system.

I'm looking forward to it coming out. I'm a fan of Brydon more than Coogan. Apparently the novel has always been thought unfilmable, so they took this route. Seems somewhat similar to 24 Hour Party People, but funnier. I'll be seein' it, anyway.
But first I need to persuade someone to see Bloke Back-mounting with me.

Looks fuckin ace I think. Has anyone seen 'Adaptation'? It looks very similiar to it in the way they are both films about films being adaptaed from books. Cant wait for this one.
I went to see Brokeback mountain the other night and it was fantastic!

Definatly mate, think its out on the 20th of this month. Bex aint gonna wanna see it with me cus it doesnt have superheroes or breakdancers in it.
Also, Micheal Haneke's (Funny Games) new film is gonna be on at the cornerhouse soon. Its meant to be brillywig and sort of follows in the footsteps of funny games in the way that it plays with the viewers pereception and 'involvement'. Cool eh. seeya Thursday anyways buddy
