who saw The Pianist on saturday night? i did and i loved it, a very very well made film, although it is rather grim to know that stuff like that REALLY happened. A very interesting and amazing film to watch, anyone else's thoughts?
PS: the scene that horrified me the most was when they pushed that kid under the wall, its absolutely sickening that people did things slike that

If you liked The Pianist check out Polanski's early film's such as Repulsion, Cul De Sac and the Fearless Vampire Killers, all independant British films by the way. And Polanski lived through the holocaust, being interned in a concentration camp as a child after his parents threw him off a death train. His girlfriend Sharon Tate who starred in The fearless Vampire Killers was murdered by the Manson family in the late sixties. Screwed up guy great director.
