Trauma's not a bad film - it's not vintage Argento but it's definitely watchable...

I think I will finally make a trip to HMV to have a look at the sale on Wednesday or Thursday. No doubt there will be naff-all left by then.

After all the Jurassic Park talk, I went and bought the bloody box set like Mr Sherbert! After wandering round HMV for half an hour theonly things I bought (to replace old VHS copies) were The Shawshank Redemption (not seen for so long now, I can't wait for another watch), and Millers Crossing.
Jurassic Park 2: The Lost World! Bring it on!

The great writer director John Sales is on board writing the newest jurassic park film? I know he does a lot of work as a script doctor but i was very surprised to see him attached to this shit.
Any of you seen any Sales films? Limbo and city of hope (maybe wrong name i forget) are great.

You'd be surprised, JT - before becoming a director, Sayles made a name for himself as the writer of creature features such as Piranha, Alligator and The Howling!

Didn't Alexander Payne co-write Jurassic Park III?
I've never seen any John Sayles films though I've always wanted to. I've read a lot about him being quite left politically, and this informing his films.

I've read a lot about him being quite left politically, and this informing his films. Payne did a credited rewrite on Jurassic Park III - there was an excellent article about well known filmmakers that have done uncredited rewrites of big blockbusters in either Empire or Tital Film, last mont - definitely worth reading. As for Sayles, I hate to admit it but I've not seen many of his films at all - I saw Lone Star, which is great and have seen some of the films based on his scripts. I would definitely class him as a lefty - last year's Silver City is supposed to be a real dig at George W...
