Did anyone else see this new show from Rob Brydon? Its a panel quiz show with a difference. Its the 'Larry Sanders Show' with a twist of 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' and a LOT of 'Have I got News For You'. I was very impressed and would even say its better.. a lot better than saxondale. What did you think?

I've recorded it, but haven't seen it yet. It was on BBC3 on Tuesday wasn't it (the first episode).
In my opinion, it won't take much to beat Saxondale! Having said that, I have enjoyed Saxondale a bit more as it has gone on, and have warmed to the character (slightly). It's just not very funny, and some of the 'humour' is amzingly contrived (Tommy going on about Squirrel's at the beginning of the last one. Shoddy).

BBC3 Monday nights at half ten. Spoilers ahoy.... I thought it was pretty good, and nice to see the Beeb putting some money behind something that's a bit original instead of just turfing out another mind-numbing shitcom with that bird in from Two Pints Of Lager. I liked the way the celebs played off their own degress of nether-stardom (Richard Bacon plugging George Foreman grills , and Dave Gorman the internet geek) Poor old Gail Porter looked like she'd been in the wars though Will be interesting to see if the format can sustain a whole series.

That's two episodes down now, and they both have been alright. I can't say I've noticed myself actually laughing while watching it though.
To some extent the concept of the show is a steel from Larry Sanders. I recall watching Larry Sanders a few times, but I think I need to see more.
