Without doubt the worst possible remake idea since 'The Wicker Man'. I saw this earlier and had to check the date.

Jill from a blood/gore point of view i was disappointed we get worse than this on TV these days (Dead Set). What really get me is that people still go on about how shocking the rape scenes are (yes they are shocking) but we have had much worse examples shown on TV and released on DVD since yet these 70s/80s films still being held as the worst ever.
A few months back after an article by the Daily (Hate) Mail HMV removed (temporarily) from sale or hid certain 'shocking' films (ISOYG, Cannibal Holocaust, New York Ripper) but nobody brought up Irreversible, Salo or the many other 'shock' titles maybe they are considered more acceptable due to higher production values 'arty' directors and better scripts.
Dont know if this helps explain my comments probably not.

It was the R2 special edition it must've been cut because it really wasnt that graphic most of the violence was off screen (or just missing) during the rape scenes and well apart from the bath scene its not that shocking.

Im on holiday from work this week so been catching up with a few dvds...
Gypsy Caravan - Engaging documentary about 6 rom gypsy bands from various countries touring the US cut with stories from their homelands including India, Romania and Macedonia.
Radio On - Late 70s B/W Anglo-German road movie. Very little plot or dialogue but very impressive soundtrack (Bowie, Kraftwerk, Wreckless Eric) and visual style.
I Spit On Your Grave - Ive never seen it before so it was on my list of so called video nasties to catch up with. Not as shocking as expected but then they never are.
Transamerica - Felicity Huffman was amazing in this, to put herself out there in that way was very brave.
Also got to see Quantum Of Solace at the cinema this week enjoyable but not as good as Casino Royale not sure if Marc Foster was the right choice.

The fanbase for this show just keeps growing. The DVD's are all about £25 now and sales have been increasing recently, i even had Wayne Rooney in today buying S3 had a quick chat with him about it and he loves it too.

Thanks Rich but to be honest i would be able to stand up in a room and do this without any problems, its more the sitting in a room talking into my computer that throws me off.

So somebody who signs up today who is a confident speaker and can get this done will get priority over forum members who would love to have contributed but are not able to due to either lack of confidence or ability? Im not just speaking about myself i know that there are others out there who didnt feel able to do this despite there love, knowledge and interest in Shanes films.

Snuff: A Documentary About Killing on Camera - I was interested in watching this as a horror/gore film fan who hates it when the media mislabel movies as snuff. I was expecting it to be based on a book called 'Killing For Culture' which in part it was (and the book got a mention in the film) but i feel the direction the documentary went in parts was a little misleading and the final 'story' not entirely believeable. Comp have you seen it? What did you think?

The Incredible Hulk - Better than Ang Lee's version but not that great but it'll all be ok when Marvel do the Avengers movie. The Orphanage - Not as scary as expected and kinda sad.

Iron Man - Really quite good which was not what i was expecting.
The Bands Visit - An Egyptian police band get lost in Israel on the way to play at the Arab Cultural Center. Quirky off-beat comedy with some great performances.
