Hello there everyone. Seasoned visitors to this site will remember the brief dabbles with a chat room that I have tried in the past. We even had a couple of scheduled chats.... to which a whopping 5 or 6 people turned up (yes! Look impressed!). Anyway, I have just thought that perhaps now is a good time to bring back the chat room! My reasoning being that there seems to regularly be quite a few people browsing the message boards at any one time. Anyway, let me know what you think..... in the mean time, here is the link to gain access to the chat room: www.auat24.dsl.pipex.com/website2/chat.htmBookmark that address so that you can get to the chat easily in the future. I haven't even checked that the room is still there yet.... hopefully it is. The last time I looked, it seemed as though you could register with the chat room.... but as of yet, I see little point in doing that.... just sign in as a guest for now. If people start using it a bit more, then I will link to it from the home page of the site too!

We certainly put the world to rights - it was the mother of all chinwags. Didn't someone turn up who never said anything? I remember Dave kept trying to coax a response out of them ('Dan! Dan! Dan!' etc)

Oi, no dissing Carter Has anyone else heard the Carter/Arctic Monkeys rumours by the way? There wasn't exactly a chatter crowd, but it's quality not quantity innit. Plus it made me feel more elite (sorry... l33t)

Oi, no dissing Carter Has anyone else heard the Carter/Arctic Monkeys rumours by the way? Only just investigated the rumour of which you speak..... well it's plausible enough, Jimbob and Fruitbat are talented types! Jimbob says: "Les (Fruitbat) and I had grown tired of the direction we were taking Radiohead in and fancied a change." Get shot of the Arctic Monkeys and bring back Carter I say!

;D What a storming chat we had last night! We hit the magic 7 number of chatters! I feel sorry for all you lot that missed out! We had Gadget in the chat (This Is England actor), we talked of 100 greatest programmes on channel4 and someone even got some help on learning dreamweaver for a forthcoming job application! It was all going on!

I reckon Jim Bob might get back on the radar this year, what with the Monkeys rumours, his new LP 'School' and new book too. I'm off to the album playback party Saturday, can't wait You should check out his solo stuff Dave - if you like Carter then it's right up your street. Always makes me think of the Romeo Brass OST for some reason "Like losers in a Michael Winner script / It's got a BMX certificate"
