Alright mate - spoken to you on a couple of occassions - most notably regarding our beloved Notts County.
What do you reckon? No manager, got rid of the Centre of Excellence, no players signed...Oldest League club in the world and all that...if the club were a dog it'd have been put down.
Can't you step in as gaffer - Paddy as assistant?
Anyway - looking forward to This Is England - and thank you for giving me and my Notts supporting mates summat else to talk about other than Notts in Dead Mans Shoes...when the footie banter dies down and we're sick of discussing Notts a few DMS lines always lighten the mood.
In fact - we love nothing more than spinning folk out with DMS lines out down the match - summat to do though innit?!?
Anyway - keep up the good work - up those flaccid Magpies...or something like that!!
YOOOOOOOOOU PPPPPIIIIIIIEEEESSSS!!!

It's been pretty dismal since Big Sam left for Bolton - 500 managers, 5000 players, administration etc. You kinda of wonder where we'd be right now if we hadn't lost him??? I have the most bizzare and poorly founded feeling that were gonna get promoted this season. You know when things are so cack they end up being great. But then again....

I hope you do, One of the best away trips for us (Oldham fans) in the past. I've probably visited Meadow Lane around 8 or 9 times now, it's been a good hunting ground for us in the last few years.
But it never used to be like that though. I recall playing there 4 times in space of a year. 1991 I think it was.
League Cup 1st round (L 0-1) FA Cup 4th round (L 0-2) Division 2 (L 0-2) Division 1 (L 0-2)
... And Tommy Johnson may have scored every goal as well. We always used to get that open terrace, the one that made you feel like a lion, basking in the sun at Chester Zoo. By the 4th time (that Division 1 game) we just went like lambs to a slaughter. We couldn't have been any surer that we were going to get humped.
So, up the Mags. We'd gladly let you take the place of Chesterfield, Port Vale, Tranmere, Blackpool (yes, them!) or Scunthorpe.

cheers 4 big sam lads! (boltons in his blood anyway) His head looked bigger than usual while on pundit duty during the England game on ITV this afternoon. Or does widescreen TV stretch those with unfeasably large body parts?

the one good thing about getting humiliated in the FA Cup is that you end up getting on Match of the Day baby! Oh and of course now we can 'Concentrate on the league'

We'd even take a 'Little Sam' at the minute youth!
