Is this movie based about the same guy who's voice influenced Paddy's, 'Morell' in Romeo Brass?

Aye. Bartley Gorman, the basis of the voice and 'unkown and invisible force based battle stories' I think. Don't know how far on they are with it though.

Is Paddy meant to be playing the lead part as the boxer, or is Shane thinking of drafting someone else in... i personally think Paddy should cos the guy is immense!!!

I think you and Paddy should have a breakdance battle for the right to play Bart.

sorry but when it comes to breakdancin' , goto www.blastro.com, search for skinny puppy, and full screen it and check that, anyway i just got a copy of ," A room for romeo brass " and also ," 24/7" which i have to say are exellent and full of charactor. surely you have seen, " twin town ". a great film set in wales. anyway please audition us for a part, i have co-produced an underground pirate tv show ......beleive it or not using video sender's , an amiga computer, a digitizer, cb thunderlooper ariel, and a camcorder with various editing equipment way back in late 80s/early 90s in burton. I have various skills , and like to get on creative flowing vibes, i remember where i came from and i miss the midlands.Your films remind me of how full of charactor the midlands are.

Hey there Zerowe...
When you register to the site, you can adjust the clock display in your profile's preferences to +5 hours (although I think it's +6 hours since the clocks went forward).
Just thought you might like to know. For those that have registered and altered there time setting, your messages are shown as posting at the actual time they were posted.

Just finished reading Bartleys book of the same title, fucking great. What a guy I hope you get the chance to make the film Shane there's obviously a story to be told! Didn't realise your dad was a fighter too! I'm going to Appelby next week with the girlfriend too the Grapes too check out that carving of Bartley as it's only about forty minutes away.

Sorry mate, i meant his acting abilities... i know he doesn't seem to be a huge guy, but he does come across in A Room for Romeo Brass, Dead Mans Shoes and that short in the extra's on Once upon a time in the Midlands as a bit of a "head the ball" which lets face it to be a streetfighter you have to be a bit of a knocker!!! Just wasn't sure whether Shane wanted someone to resemble Bartley in looks, height, weight etc or just make a film based on his life! Maybe Shane can reply and let us know what he plans to do!?
