Shane will you be judging ,"the big issue short film awards l" at the ," raindance film festival" , which starts september 28th..?

As i understand you were previously on the panel for the short film awards. By the way This is Darren Rowe here , and have many idea's for some projects and some soundtrack , scene improv. sugggestions for your new film ," oi!.... this is England." I am involved with a m.o.b.o. based record label, on the south coast at the mo' , however i would like to get back into acting , ask paddy , we used to do some mad improvisation stuff, i remember he used to impersonate the deputy head at school by imitating his deep voice and saying one of his catch phrases which was,"...Errrr!....ladies!!?".This would startle the schoolgirls, as we would creep up to the smoking den and he 'd perform his impersonation , and all the girls who had a cig on the go at the time , would frantically extinguish the cigarettes out wherever they could. i also remember Martin, his dad who inspired me to get into dictionary's . God Bless, may heaven welcome him. Paddy taught me to play guitar. One time i remember he dared me to piss on this electric street light circuit which we had found exposed up on the hill....(wins.."). i passed the buck and double dared him , so he said," fair enough..i'll piss on it then".. i just couldn't believe my ears and eyes as to what effect this caused when i turned round , we was laughing hideously as we scar-purred across the hill. The light was making mad explosive random but constant big bangs and stroby flashes almost like a mini thunder and lightening storm, oh well i thought I'd mention. Please please please help us get some experience in acting or any kind of media skills. I thought you were putting the casting lady's contact details on the site/ forum? Well i have made some short film hopefully in time for the big issue film festival, it's just that i have shitty equipment apart from my laptop/ and my usb audio interface. However i am confident that even with my crappy camcorders i can deliver a short film worth watching?

As for the short film endeavour.. good luck with it! Don't worry about the standard of your equipment, if you make something with a good story and/or enjoyable to watch, then it makes no odds.
Likewise, lots of eager amateur film-makers spend too much time arsing about trying to get top notch equipment, when their ideas are shite anyway. And as we all know, you can't polish a turd (except perhaps for those calcified, white dog's messes you used to see on the streets! ;D )

The disappearance of the white dog turd is due to the increasing amount of vegetables in the doggie diet. Feeding a dog pure meat leads to white turd formation, and the turds are generally smaller and less voluminous. The new ranges of high veg dog foods have lead to much more copius quantities of turd, wetter, and smellier too, which anyone who is vegetarian or knows a vegetarian will tell you is par for the course. These new dog foods are cynically marketed as being "healthy" but its more to do with vegetables being cheaper ingredients in the first place. Purists will argue that giving a dog any vegetables at all is incorrect procedure. Real purists even dislike processed meat, preferring to feed their dogs exclusively on boiled bones. I tend to disagree with this approach favouring a balance between the two camps. You see, in the wild after it has made a kill, a dog would usually eat the stomach contents of the prey animal first, a meal of partially digested vegetable matter. So in fact both schools of thought have some merit. For further reading please refer to my Phd thesis - "Turdus Britannica; the demise of the white British Turd; a socio-economic indicator of modern British Life." A-ha! You see! There is a connection between turds and "Oi This is England!" I think the production designer ought to ensure that white turds are actually make seen on the streets in the film, imagine the nostalgia!
