You do have to sign up, but it is simply a case of providing an email address and a login name. The thing that has set this site apart from the rest of the simiar sites I have found, is that you get a web link which people can use to download the film direct from the webspace... rather than having to visit the ourmedia site to view it.
As an example, the following link is to the spoof tourist info film that I previously mentioned on this board. The link is direct to the file, so you can right click it and Save As.
So, anyone who needs some webspace to showcase their short film would do well to check the ourmedia site out.
Youtube is alright Patrick, I got some films on there but I personally prefer www.livedigital.com as the film quality is much better to watch I found. I currently have mine on youtube.com, video.google and livedigital.com and now I'm puttting them on myspace as well.
Also mate youtube.com has restrictions on size and video length, 10 minutes maximum length they will take I think by memory.
