Hi Everyone
It was mentioned that it might be nice to share some films I have been working on.
Please bare in mind that most of the films i made last summer when I first got into film making and are pretty basic.
The films The Farm, Trouble, Hitman, Monkey Man I made using friends and family and even myself in places, they were made on a Sony Hanycam TRV245E and edited either in Windows Movie maker or Sonic Vegas 4.0.
The first film I ever made was the farm and we shot it last summer, we actually filmed the whole film in about 2 hours and i did a first cut in about an hour and my mates and my bro who was Norbert in the film loved it and so for the rest of the summer we ended up making beginner style films and we shot about 5 in total over the summer and then..................sadly my camera broke so i didn't really pursue anything over the winter apart from a stupid Dead or Alive music video I did which the people at video.google seem to love as it has had so many hits on there.
Anyway during this time I continued to watch British films or artistic films and watched making offs on the DVD extras and and logged some filming ideas in my memory and then low and behold last week i finally purchased a brand new Sony Handy cam TRV265E from ebay at the fantastic price of £160 delivered to my door.......last week i shot my first little film for about 6 months called the gas man (u might recognise the gas mask I'm wearing from a certain Shane Meadows film lol) now forgetting the plot as there wasn't really one i just filmed something sketchy last Thursday but artistically the film was my best piece yet and for once i paid attention to small details (and i used a tripod) and i edited it in Sony Vegas 4.0 as opposed to windows movie maker. I think from my earlier films it is filmed a lot better and is the kind of style i am going to aim for this summer.
So now armed with a new camera up and working, 5 films written (written in my work time as well lol), a list of people wanting to be in the new films, a more artistic filming method and hopefully this summer some good weather I'm hoping to have some intermediate level films on-line soon.
I have written so far for this summer a kind of horror film called "A Scream in the night" , a gangster piece which doesn't have a title yet, Forrest Fiends and a few more little bits.
Anyway if u fancy a butchers the link is below and u can leave any feedback u like I'm not easily offended lol. Also if any of u by chance are living in the Wiltshire area and would like to team up or work together or whatever give me a shout. I guess also if anyone is looking for any locations in Wiltshire to film give me a shout there are loads of cool things like cool scary forrests, Stone Henge, White Horses, farms, shacks, massive hills, canals, old buildings, crop circles.
