Really, really good! Just seen it at 2.30am, so I'm not really awake enough to offer much of a review... but here goes. Unusual story, without swearing or violence! Always a plus in my books. Really well shot.... but the sound is way to loud on this YouTube version leading to distortion. Some cool acting in there too, especially the first time the checkout girl is in it. Her performance there wouldn't be out of place in a quality sitcom! The whole film has a strange ethereal quality to it, even before the bad fish kicks in.. which is cool. Some nice understated humour. I liked him asking where the deoderant is in the shop and then saying, "It's not for me". I really liked it, and there isn't really anything in it that smacks of 'amateurish'. Nice job! Oh... the clock on the kitchen counter leaning on the microwave was a bit blatant!

awesome stuff fattaxi! the story was well written, the links were clear such as the simpsons sound "even the tinnyest thing could change the world in ways you cant imagine" it was cool how that lnked with the story. i agree with dave on the acting, the girl on the checkout was very good in the mostache scene, and the others were good too. I didn't see much need in the football scene.. maybe mostly because i couldnt read what was in the text message (because of the video quality). it was over all very funny, my fave funny bit was the fish saying "what you need is a bloody slap!" ha ha ha, aweosme idea to have the talking fish. Overall an enjoyable, well written, acted and shot film which is also very funny! welldone keep up the good work. oh yeah, dave mentioned about the sound quality being dodgy, there should be a way to sort this, what exactly did you compress your movie down to? i could give you some real good settings that are perfect for web viewing to compress to, i'll tell you them if you want?

Cool film, I loved all the real small subtle things that are happening in the film and it was well shot. Isn’t the guy watching watership down at one point lol, I heard the song “Bright eyes” playing at the beginning of part 2.
I loved it when the fish gives him some advice, real clever idea. The girl on the check out is a good actress I agree as well. I liked the whole film it was good and I’m glad it worked out for the fella in the end.

Thank you Dazza, I'm not sure if everyone gets that scene, I know a few we showed it too didn't quite understand. But the director and I who I also co-wrote with came up with the idea that he couldn't get away from sad moments in films after Lizzy (the shopgirl) doesn't show up. Incase you didn't notice it started with E.T, Casablanca and then as Dazza mentioned Watership Down. Unfortuantly Gadge mate I haven't got any more online yet. Its because to be honest the only way I know how is from DVD! I'm sure i'll find away to get some more on at the moment. I'm currently working on a film that I star in, which involves me, a suit and some water! Unfortuantly its not a luagh riot but should be ok, its very different to work that the director and I have done before. Oh and incase you didn't notice/know I play the captain of the football team in "Out Of Date"! ha ha.
