If you intend to link to a film of yours, start the title of your thread with: *FILM* (including the asterixes).
That way it is easy to spot which posts have films in them!
It's also a good idea to only link to one or two films at a time. You can of course link to as many of your own films as you like in one go, but I tend to think that people are less inclined to view a whole host of links. You're usually hard pressed to get people to watch one sometimes!

When I first saw this, I didn't know what to think of it. A minute later, I was cracking up when the roomate interrupted him. I love the tidbit humor. I think all dudes how been in that situation. Keep it up.

I have no film as yet but I have two teaser trailers. 1st short simple one. 2nd more interesting one Would love to know peoples thoughts on these - and yes before anyone says anything alot of the camera work is shaky on purpose for that "I don't quite know where he's going" documentary look. Don't watch if you don't like Northern accents

I don't think thats gonna happen through here, infact so many proposals like this come through the forum it's probably the worst place to try... Also surely production companies are the people you want to be pitching too

Just a general news update about the film-making forum.... You can probably see that I have cleared out all those 'sticky' posts at the top of the forum relating to competitions from days gone by. Now I know a lot of those competitions were not resolved, but please remember that the prize ideas were not mine. Looks neater, and you can see what the latest stuff is now a lot more easily.

Hello Parkergleaves.
You might want to start a new thread for your film? It will probably get more views and comments.
My reaction's mixed. On the one hand, I liked the two main characters. Thought they were strong enough to carry a short centred on them or a vignette type project. And a lot of potential in the gardening/gardeners idea too.
On the other hand, I found this particular film a bit of a meander, pulled together at the end in a cliched kind of way. Almost felt like you had two different ideas in your head and couldn't quite make your mind up which one to go with, so tried to do both?
Just my opinion, but if it's feasible, I'd think about doing a simple character driven short with these two guys/characters and keeping the 'story' really simple (their day to day dialogue/reflections, rather than the big dramatic finale).
