What about a Shane Meadows film festival? Get a cinema to show loads of Shanes films and shorts
Could even get the big man himself to do a question and answer or something
Whatcha think?

Sounds like good fun!
We could even ruin it all by screening some of our own short film efforts too!

I work in an indie cinema. They would definately be interested if enough people would turn up.
I was thinking
24/7, Romeo Brass, Once apon a time in the Midlands and Dead Man's shoes + also some of his shorts if we can get hold of them

The cinema is in Northampton. I have spoken to the management and they are up for it. They said they should be able to get hold of the prints for Shane's previous films. Obviously TIE is not out yet so not sure if it would be better to wait for that and show all of them.
Obviously the event would rely a lot on support from people from this website so I am asking for people's opinions
The event would be in Northampton (good central location) on a Saturday

I'd travel from Scotland for it if enough people were going.
