I'm surprised you haven't pointed this out yet Mr Kezz..... I know you told us all about it a while ago, but now there is a trailer! For those who don't know, Keiran Hardcastle (aka Kezz on these forums) who plays Kes/Kezz in This Is England, plays the lead role in a new government backed film that highlights the dangers of the growing weapons culture amongst teenagers..... I think... correct me if I'm wrong. The film has it's own MySpace, and there is a short trailer for the film on there: www.myspace.com/schoolboyfilm

I think this is a different one to the government/gun culture film, Dave.

I think this is a different one to the government/gun culture film, Dave. I'm sure it is the same thing.... but maybe it isn't strictly related to any government initiative. The MySpace site says: "Supported by The Safer South Derbyshire Partnership and The National Lottery "Big Boost" initiative, Schoolboy explores the possible consequences that can occur when young people carry dangerous weapons and the film tells the story of two young people who one day decide to take them into school, resulting in one becoming seriously injured in an incident in a school classroom."

Haha! Nice one Dave, I'v been so Ruddy Busy I'v not rly got round to bringing that up on here..
Erm basically Schoolboy is all nice and finished and If someone can tell me how to upload it from the DVD on here then I'l gladly do so.. its 13 minutes in length..
(But Coyle is very right too, 'Schoolboy' is not the short film about drugs/weapons/street culture that is going around all the schools through-out the country.. though it is also going to schools with a similar intention.

No wonder I've got confused. ;D To get it from the DVD, you obviously need some kind of DVD ripping software. You may have something that can do it on your PC (or Mac!)... especially if the DVD isn't copy protected. Failing that, you must know someone who can do it for you and can get it on YouTube or Google video for you.

I've just seen it! It's a great little story. Some of the kids characters are annoying.. but then that is the point! haha.
Not only is Kezz in it, but there is also Chanel Cresswell and Danielle Watson (both from This Is England) and I think I also recognised the guy who plays Kezz's Dad in the film.... I think it is the chap that played Gadget in 24/7! Oh yeah.. and the teacher is the woman who was in the second series of The Office... Tim's girlfriend for most of that series.
Kezz's character is the kid who's picked on in the class by the 'cool' kids and he's done it really well. All the nervousness of the confrontation was spot on. A nice little twisty ending which kind of reminded me of the project that Mr Coyle has just filmed.
