Fans of Shane's work may be interested in this article I wrote a couple of years back following a half-hour interview with him in the foyer of the Sheraton Hotel, Edinburgh - the day after he premiered Dead Man's Shoes. The article also details the Shane Meadows Short Film Event, where he screened various shorts which informed and inspired some of the work that went into Dead Man's Shoes. The article was published in an edited format in Exposed magazine the following month, and hard copies are available if you really need one. My e-mail address is at the bottom of the article if anyone wants any further info. Cheers. Link: www.lazaruscorporation.co.uk/v4/articles/shanemeadows.php

Hey there banjoman! That is a great interview. I remember finding it when I was building the site. It's been on the LINKS page from the very beginning!

Thanks guys - and I didn't realise it was on the links page, nice one for that.
I think I got about 3,000 words out of Shane in 30 minutes, which was amazing - and it just goes to show how dedicated he is. I was dying to ask the Hugh Grant question, and just managed to nick it in before his PA dragged him off!
