This is probably illegal but I thought if anyone new the answer you folks would.
I saw this blinding short film - well 20 minutes long and I want to share it, but the problem is I have 1 copy and of the people I want to show it to one lives in Jersey the other Dubai. So I could copy it and send it to them, but it would be great to have people on here see it and much easier to have on line so I can say to every one check it out.
Can I put someone else's film on the net though? If that is not illegal and immoral then how do I actually do it. Until 6 months ago I had the oldest of old computers and so e-mailing (which could be dam slow) was the extent of my internet usage.

you could put in on youtube but keep it as a private video so only people you invite to watch it can see it, still illegal but at least your not taking the piss too much, whats it called?

It's called A picture of me. Improvised film in the style of Mike Leigh but much freshier - got a chick from Corrie and a guy from Brookside in. Really powerfull well acted piece.
I'm sorry for the stupidness of this next question, but how do I set up putting on a private video on youtube. Is there a sight that will tell me how or could any monkey do it.
Am I right in thinking if I keep it private only people I tell it's on there will know?
So no chance of the production company finding out it's me and doing me in?
it's crazy that I want to help people see their work but am scared of getting myself in the brown stuff for my trouble.

sounds good! I'd definatly like to see that, can't seem to find it online anywhere,
aslong as it's private you wont get in the shit, and anyway even if its public if the production company have a problem they just send a letter to youtube and they take it down, either way you won't get in trouble
it's pretty straight forward to set up an account
what formats the video in now? you'll have to encode it but I use a Mac and editing software to shrink mine for online, someone else might have to help you on that, Morell (on here) aka gareth (on the Paddy forum) has got a huge youtube account with a few short films and loads of film clips, he's probably your best bet to help!
unless you use a Mac bcoz I avn't got a clue when it comes to windows!
