Just to let you all know that Icharus Broken has been given it's release date for the US and Canada... April 22nd 2008. It's going through Vanguard International Cinema, and you can pre-order it from Amazon.com
I thought it was going to be region 1, but it looks as though it will actually be region 0, so will be playable on all DVD players. STILL working on getting it a UK release, but it's taking a while.
For those that have kept up with this little movie, thanks for the support guys. Dave, Hyde, Wiggy, Thribb, Salvador, Rob and Tommo, Coyle, Ryd, yeah, everyone basically - thanks. I shot this movie on £1,600 in little old Derby, and now it's going on sale in Walmart and Blockbuster Video. Nuts ain't even the word to cover it.

You worked for it, I always thought "damn this guys working hard and this is after he's made it" what with getting it screened etc etc... but even at that, the film definately sold itself. Nice work mate you deserved it.

Well done Tom thats amazing news to get the film to DVD release major achievement for Indie film making. I'll have to buy a copy as i havent seen the film myself yet. Congratualations and good luck with it.

Cheers guys. You know, writing, shooting and cutting a film is the easy part. It's getting people to watch it that's the tough bit. But I'm already wondering how it's going to sell. Now that's where you start to get a bit nervy... Ha ha. Is anyone else working on a feature film at the moment?

Gonna have a crack at writing one in the summer i think, gotta give you credit for everything though....very dedicated.
I find a fifteen minute short consumes a huge amount of time, particuarly pre-production, script rewrites, casting, getting locations etc. And i've not even attempted the distribution side of things before...

i have penned a full 100 page feature for tash, now introducing a Danny Dyer type character who follows footy thugs, it is to be filmed in the summer using 2 hvr-v1e camera's. i have also finished my fearless men script which has had a few drafts and has really turned out great, i have even surprised myself with how good it is (not meaning to brag) if you want to have a read of it just pm me. once again hats off to you, icharus is a very good film
