Does anyone use this? I have tried it a couple of times in the past, but then just binned the thing because I couldn't make head nor tail of it! haha
Anyway, just got hold of it again (it is freeware) and been reading some tutorials. I have now found that virtual dub converts video files faster than anything else I have ever used!
It is quite a complicated little bit of software (no installation required, you just run it from the .exe file that you unzip, and it is pretty tiny too).
Just had to download and install the free LAMEMP3 codec, and now I'm well away converting things to divx like nobody's business! ;D
....and remember, Youtube recommends Divx videos at 640x480 resolution with mp3 audio for the best YouTube results!
