This is a film i made on the HND Film making course i am on.

It is the story of a 1920's silent movie character who becomes lost in a modern world, will he find his way home to a time more simple than 2008?

Hello!

Just watched it, really liked it! Very nice simple idea. I'm going to of course ask how you did it?! The black and white man with the colour surroundings certainly looked sublime. Particularly that grass close up. Was that shot against the hedge a green screen shot? When he turned into colour? It looked it... but the rest didn't.

A good film, and the idea is great, something lacked in the editing though. oddly placed cross dissolves and the like. But i liked it, good work! Keep it up. Ohh and the music was good too, how it changed.

RydCook, i had to isolate the character frame by frame to make him black and white, it was really time consuming but i couldn't think of any other way to do it. The part where he turns colour is green screen, it would have taken far too long to do it any other way as he is moving around to much, i don't like that part as it looks too obvious that its green screen.

I see where your coming from with the cross disolves, they are somewhat oddly placed, looking back at it now.
