Hi Paul can I ask, what software do you edit in and then what settings do you save it as for upload. Reason I ask is that my quality is great on DVD but loses quality when I upload to say Youtube, shootingpeople, etc. what kind of file size do you upload?
Great news about how popular the film is becoming.

Great news about how popular the film is becoming. For YouTube I use the recommended 640x480 Divx at about 800kbps bit rate and mp3 audio (128kbps is fine). Usually good results... well, the best that YouTube can manage. Other sites are better.

Yea your film quality comes across better than mine on Youtube Dave. Do you set that format in Adobe Premier or do you convert it using some other software?? I edit and save the movie file in Sony Vegas editing software where the quality is fantastic but the size is like a couple of Gig so I then have to put it through windows moviemaker reduce the size down to the limit for Youtube 100MB but the quality is still not great???

Divx is awkward to explain if you have never come across it before. There are some relatively easy bits of software that convert to Divx, but I now use VirtualDub. Quite user-UNfriendly, but now I know how it works, it converts stuff faster than anything else I have used, and you have more options too. www.divx.com/You can get the free codec and a few bits of software in the free bundle. I think it still includes their very basic converter. EDIT: looks like you only get a 15 day trial of the converter with the free bundle. I recommend you still get the codec though if you don't have it. When you install it, you get options as to what you want to install.... you pretty much only need to install the codec and you can ignore everything else. Once it is installed, Windows Media Player and other players you might already have will play Divx videos without any trouble. If you get it, I could do a thread about VirtualDub and my tutorial for video conversion! ;D

Dude! Just watched it... i found it pretty hilarious, in a good way! Liked the shot through the key hole. Music was a bit OTT, i loved the sound towards the end though, that kind of fuzzy horrible sound, good stuff. Great effects too!

Just in the process of uploading my stuff to shooting people, seems to be a great place to upload your videos. I have one question, do i have to worry about copyrighted music?! I know its okay for Youtube, but for shooting people? Can't find any info on it. Sounds like you had some copywrighted music in your video Jake/paul so i guess its okay? I just wanna upload a couple of music videos I've done.
