The Mic was a built in camcorder standard Mic . my point was if there's something i can learn then great . But it just seemed like nothing on the telly no one to talk to nothing to do of a Sunday i wondered what Barry Norman does now on a Sunday commenting on no budget Short's still it's better then vegging out in a rest home. Also Jake is off his head on a new drug he 's just tested and is at best a nasty piece of work and very unpredictable he is supposed to be edgy out of control if you have a read up there's plenty of info Ref: his CHARACTER

Yea come on at least be constructive Shindig rather than dissing someones work.
Some people spend a lot of time working on there shorts and constructive critiscism helps them move forward and learn but dissing does'nt help anyone.
Paul is right to defend what he has done and like he said with low budget camcorders you can only do so much. Film making is hardwork on a low budget trying to get actors to be in the film, write a good script, buy props, secure locations, film on a half decent camera. This site is great for help, advice and constructive feedback so lets not start ruining this with un-needed arguement.

I'm sure this trailer was doing the rounds when I first joined here? not having ago just confused yes Stagger started out as a trailer on line about 7 months ago . as all my work before was for BBC - ch4 etc. working to there scripts this is my first film that i have written with just this clip alone . i now can edit add a soundtrack and to make and apply the titles just from working with the short hence all the versions. its had well over 2000 plays made with no money the short/trailer... Now with funding we are filming the full feature film in Suffolk. Thanks dazza your one of the members which made me decide to join back up to the forum after my very green approach to this forum thing. i must say now that i did over self promote and was rightly shot to bits by the members here when i first joined up.But i do hope that now i do contribute to the forum in some small way [ IF ONLY FOR A DAM GOOD PISS TAKE ] BUT I WOULD NOT HAVE PUT THE TRAILER UP ON LINE IF I WAS NOT PROUD OF MY FIRST EVER SHORT AS WRITER -DIRECTOR- ACTOR -EDITOR ALL ON NO BUDGET. |
