As you have probably seen, I have added some photos to the site of the wrap-party for This Is England. (If you can't see them yet, then hopefully the site will update itself soon!).

Anyway, it was only when I was sent these photos for the site (thanks to Andy Ellis, Louise Meadows and Jo Hartley) that I suddenly realised who Perry Benson was! I had seen the name on a call-sheet I had been given, but the penny hadn't dropped as to who he actually was.

I used to love him the sitcom Operation Good Guys as the character 'Bones'. It was all done in the style of a documentary, and years before the Office or People Like Us.
Perry also makes a couple of appearances in my favourite sitcom, 15 Storeys High (which I can't help but mention every chance I get). In series one he played the guy with a horse in his flat, and in series two he played one of the mad table-tennis brothers.

I heard he was also in the sitcom Top Buzzer which also stars Stephen Graham.... not seen it myself though.

Can't wait to see him in This Is England!

Absolutely. The double-whammy (both versions) DVD tin boxset is a must-have item for me. The commentaries (Threlfall, Daniels, and Winstone) are really informative.
