Joe Gilgun (Woody)

I have just had an email from Inside Soap magazine, and they tell me that Joe Gilgun (who played Woody in This Is England) will soon be appearing in Emmerdale as Eli Dingle.

That's the second Dingle to have appeared in a Shane Meadows film.... the first being James Hooton (Twentyfour Seven) who plays Sam Dingle.

I've asked the woman who emailed me to let me know when Joe is scheduled to make his first appearance as Eli, so that I can let everyone here know.

Cool Emmerdale always seems to be on in our house so if its on I'll keep my eyes peeled for him.
