Hey shane, i was woundering if the movie is going to be realesed straight on to dvd, or will there be screenings around the UK at all. Im pretty sure and if i remember from the past there was a seedy little cinema in manchester i was down at years back now which shows Bmovies and alike as soon as they hit the shelfs.
Peace Out !!!

I'm still trying to work that post out.... Is it taking the mick or not? haha Probably not, but I can't quite see what the Bmovie cinema has to do with anything.
This Is England is definitely heading for a cinema release.

Dave, any idea where the film would be potentially shown in Wiltshire or Bath matey? Not really sure.... the best bet is probably where I am working now, the Watershed in Bristol. Patrick... I used to work at different cinemas in Bath... one being The Little Theatre Cinema, and they are likely to show This Is England too. However the 'Little' only has two screens, so often has to deal with a back-log of films simply because they don't have space to screen them all. When they show This Is England, it will almost certainly be a few weeks after release. That's what happened with Dead Man's Shoes there, whereas the Watershed in Bristol had it from it's release date.

Excellent I am gonna have to bare in mind the watershed and also the Little Theatre Cinema then. I really wanna see one of Shane's films on the big screen and not wait for the DVD release. Thanks Dave

Dead Man's Shoes did general release at a large number of cinemas if I remember right. Surly This Is England will screen at independents at least. Has it scored a distributor yet? Maybe I should check IMDb and stop being lazy huh? Ha ha.

Just checked IMDb - and to add answer to alexchandon's initial question, it's got a very good distributor, so Bmovie cinemas (ha ha) are out of the question...

Al Alex - I take it you're the Alex Chandon of Cradle Of Fear fame? If so, welcome to the forums, mate? What gives? Any new projects on the horizon?
