Cor blimey! That's the bestestest news!
Hey Herostar.... I agree that getting to hear about all this behind the scenes stuff is brilliant. Before I made this site, I couldn't imagine a Shane Meadows site being so 'involved'. It's crazy to be honest.
Anyway.. have plenty more luck (although looks like luck isn't needed when you have a stunning film to show off), and keep us informed!

Bloody hell Shane, good review mate. I think this could be the start of a Meadows film getting the reception it deserves over the old pond, not before time too. I do find it a bit strange they didn't like DMS as i find it quite easily the best film Shane hans made and without a doubt the most moving but i guess thats yanks for ya.
Does anyone think that with the influx of certain british films over the last few years that TIE will get a lot of notice from people who may be expecting some ultra violent skin head film along the lines of football factory or green street? I think if this does happen it will be a very good thing as shane can get people in who wouldn't normally see his films and then hit them with a thoughtful, realistic film about that era without resorting to MTV esq bullshit with a hobbit in it.

I reckon thats inevitable. Its going to piss all over them from a great great height though.

It's good that I can rely on members of the site to find new cool stuff. A small update to the front page of the site is in order! The last shot in that teaser reel is a right stunner!

Yea Iv seen tht clip before Its Good..
But I'm also glad that from that trailer u lot have only seen a breif section of the film.. If I wasn't involved with it, I don't think I would have a correct guess at the way the film plans out..
The cast also saw another montage/teasertrailer 4 it of a different section of the Film.. & without unveiling any of what you see in it, I like it even better than the one uv all now seen..
