check out the bifa web site, today they have anounced the nominations for 2006 and tie has fuckin seven, fuckin 7,dont wanna go on but this film is going from strengh to strengh cant wait for all you guys to see it......

The bifas are pretty much like the baftas but for films of a non studio nature. There are restrictions on maximum budget etc to ensure that Star Wars and Superman conna get nominated!
Saying that though it has got a pretty high profile over the last few years and as budgets drop the world over, a lot of 'semi studio' projects are finding their way into the fold and it now seems to get it's fair share of stars and shakers picking up awards (Harry Potter???) which seems to have raised press and public interest and means good things for the rest of us 'True' independents if we can actually frikking win one!

Hate to be a cunt but it is impossible for T.I.E to win all 7, Two people are nominated for supporting actor, unless its a joint award.

1 would be a 100% improvement on the DMS haul (of none). I think 'The queen' will probably be the TIE killer, but you never know....
