Nice one Thribb spot on how you went out of your way to do that for another fan so they could appreciate the trailer top bloke. Yeah... Thribb is the man. This subtitling site is something I will probably have a go at soon, but at the moment, this site is eating away at my free time! ;D

Great links Chromebaby. Thanks for those. I can't say I even know what the film NEXT is. So that proves that This Is England wins!

Was in Manchester today for a grand day out! Went to Selfridge's to pay homage to the food hall and in front of the entrance was Alan selling The Big Issue! I bought two. Here's why... Quite probably! Jo Hartley and Stephen Graham give some great insights in to their experiences working on the film and in particular working with Thomas (Thommo – yet another spelling!) Turgoose. TIE gets a great write up by the acting editor, Lianne Steinberg, too. I won't scan and post up the article. Buy an issue or two yourselves. It's worth it!

Just caught the last half an hour of a 40 min special on TIE on the Bonanza channel. Interviews with lots of the cast. The host (don't recall his name just now) was effusive in his praise for the film, saying it was definitely best British film of the year.
It's fantastic that TIE is getting all this positive exposure and especially great for Shane, who's had 10 years of critical acclaim, but never quite managed to get that break through with a mainstream cinema audience. Congratulations to all again-about time!!

I think I will have to pester a Big Issue seller tomorrow!
