I'm hoping we will get a digital print here in Bristol too. We've just had the kit installed and we are showing Inland Empire on it at the moment... and that is the same distributor as This Is England... Optimum Releasing! In fact, I'm pretty sure that those cinemas that are capable of digital will get a digital print so that they have more 35mm prints to free up for distribution.

I've seen quite a few films in digital at the cinema and even a small film like Ghosts which Nick Broomfield directed makes quite a difference. Do we have any idea on how many prints are available? I'm guessing it's not 100% nationwide compared to a hollywood blockbuster for example.

You don't get any of the little black spots appearing on the screen for example which you would get on a 35mm print after it's been used for a while. Basically it's crystal clear and the print doesn't go in a worse condition after each time its used. I think digital prints work from a hard drive rather than your normal 35mm reels, but I could be wrong on that one.
