Sat around at work with not much going on (I am working every day of the bank holiday weekend if you're interested... )... and I have just discovered that the official site for This Is England has made it's first appearance online. At the moment it just has the trailer and a film synopsis. Full site coming soon though! www.thisisenglandmovie.co.uk WARNING!!! In the video section of that site there are 5 videos about THE STORY of the film. Videos 4 and 5 contain whopping great spoilers! AVOID them if you haven't seen the film.

That is a brilliant website, loads of cool little things. Check out Tommo's audition tapes on there.

Yeah it is a cool website,
There are a few minor errors on the cast biography bit though. On mine it says that 'MADE in England' is my first feature. ?? MADE? lol, And Andys is awfully wrong, I think he's only ever met Ian once or twice never mind trained under him. But apart from those little niggles that section is really well done.
I enjoyed watching all the interviews, and also Tomo's audition. which I can tell you now was quite different to mine!
Some really grea shots and pics and stuff man.

Great site! I avoided the interviews like the plauge but checked out the cinema release dates and where TIE is showing. Low and behold on the 31st of August the last date on the site for a Cinema showing it's playing in my local town just a mile away, Kirkgate Centre Cockermouth looks like I'm travelling to see it in Newcastle I'm not waiting that fooking long ! ;D

Hey Gadge and Kezz..... let me know what you want changed.. or added.... I have a contact on the inside! Poor Mr Shim doesn't even get a name check.. just his character name. He has more info on himself in Lol's profile than in his own. I also noticed that the first page of the soundtrack tracklist is invisible! Perhaps I'll drop them an email on Sunday.... so let me know of anything any of you have spotted that is a bit wonky.

ID LIKE IT NOT TO SAY I TRAINED UNDER IAN SMITH (NOTHING AGAINST IAN OR HIS WORKSHOP AS I AN IS A GREAT GUY AND HIS WORKSHOP HAS PRODUCED SOME OF THE MOST AMAZING ACTORS IVE WORKED WITH) JUST THAT IM NOT FROM THAT AREA IM FROM MANCHESTER. MINE SHOULD JUST SAY THAT "THIS IS ENGLAND" IS MY ACTING DEBUTE. GADGE!

I enjoyed watching all the interviews, and also Tomo's audition. which I can tell you now was quite different to mine! Ha ha... although to be fair, even though they are labelled as audition tapes on that site, they're not really are they. They are more of a way of Shane seeing Tommo as himself because Tommo then had to come along and do proper auditions with Jo (mentioned in the Culture Show Clip).

Oh yea yea I know, To be onest it was a good way of seeing The Boy Wonder straight up. ------------------------------------------------ Yea with mine, its actually got quite a detailed bio in comparison to others, The only two things I would say it could be updated, is that if it mentioned I'v trained under Ian Smith aswell, and that "This is England" is my debut Film, not "MADE in England"! Haha thts quite crazy when you think about it. The next Tim Roth!
