TIE is an outstanding film, and I'd very much like to see it put on in Bradford, at the National Media Museum.
I live near Bradford, and there's quite a contingent of former skins, together with a strong following for the BNP. I've never seen a more forceful indictment of racist fury arising from frustration. The ideas that drive the film throughout its compelling evocation of Eighties provincial England are clearly expressed and arrestingly credible.
Please bring this film to West Yorkshire, preferably with a Q&A session.
Finally, I am on the committee of the Haworth Arts Festival, and would like to know whether there is any chance of getting you up for this year's event.
In any case, thank you for making such a fine film, and I wish you and the cast the very best for the future. Nice to hear a bit of Toots on the soundtrack too.
Peet.
