It's a slave number isnt it? Or at least a prisoner number thats what I've always thought. Love Toots and The Mayatals coming from my love for The Harder They Come. Ryan Adams also plays with him on his "Jamaica" DVD.... so thats awesome too.

The story goes that it was Toots Hibbert's prison number when he was jailed for drug possession in the 60's. But it's also been said -apparently by Toots Hibbert- himself that the number itself was made up for the song title. Whatever the truth, it's a killer song!
