I must say I was dissapointed to notice that barr 4 other people my girlfriend and I were the only ones there. But the film was great!!! Right from the off, I felt that I was back in the late 70's early 80's. And aside from the gripping ''The Wall'' type story line the fact that Shane had all the little things in there to make it feel genuine. Examples: Corona bottles of Pop, The Grifter little Turgoose is riding, the Cortina's and Granada's. Where did you find these things ?? The story again was a great one, and as much as I was laughing I just knew there was something nasty around the corner, and yet again Shane never failed to deliver. He has the best way of lulling you into a false sense of security. And then POW, right in the kisser. Turgoose is a fine actor, a real fine actor and one funny kid. Great work mate. The fella who played Woody kept reminding me of Paddy C, and that is a compliment in itself. Great work. Many congratulations Shane, and I hope that this is a very popular film. Now all I have to do is go back to waiting ... Waiting for the DVD release and then waiting for Shanes next project. Can I just say there wasn't enough Gavin Clark in it for me, but was very happy with Please, Please, Please at the end. Best wishes. Tee.

Where did you see it? It's been busy at other places.
Talking of 80's props, just noticed the Panini stickers on Shaun's bedside table! Nice.

The guy who played Woody was Joe Gilgun, he can currently be seen in Emmerdale!

NO WAY!!! Emmerdale ? I'll have to watch Emmerdale now Fuck!! I'd also like to add that it was a midnight show in East London and so it had good enough reason to be slack, but it was release night. I recognise Gadget from stuff too, but can't remember if it's from Clockwork Orange (not being him obviously) to stuff thats been on TV. Thanks again Shane. Best wishes. Tee. SHR

finally got to see TIE on Saturday afternoon after much anticipation... and it blew me away! I didn't think it could be good enough to knock DMS or Romeo Brass of my top spot but I think it has, will have to see it a few more times in the cinema to make sure To everyone involved in every aspect of the film: Congratulations! Finest film (British or otherwise) in years. Top class acting, hilarious, moving, shocking. I'm trying to get as many people as I can to see it while it's in the cinemas. My girlfriend hadn't seen any of Shane's movies before TIE and now she's hooked We had a double bill of Romeo/DMS on Saturday night after seeing it, she's blown away. Congratulations guys, you deserve every award you've got coming to you.
