i just saw the film today and i love it!
its shot up there to being one of my favourite films, i play in a punk band (myspace.com/youkant, and have a lot of skin head punk friends, and being from grimsby/cleethorpes i can relate a lot to the characters, and also some of the locations.
it seemed like this film was targeted at me, congratulations on such a great film. Theres so many great parts to this film, its moving, funny, interesting and memorable.
To have a similar film set in the present day would be quite interesting, but a lot of the issues brought up in the film are still relevant today.
But from the scene where he gets his first pair of dc martins was so similar as to when i got mine, and when youve got personal problems going to the beach to think about things always seems to happen!
