I have just seen This is England and was blown away. What an incredible piece of art that just shows how amazing the British film industry can be. I am an actor and I defy anyone watching that film to not want to work in the industry!
I am a great admire of Shane Meadows' work and it is part of the reason that I bit the bullet and chose to pursue my love of acting and to make it my career. I'm not sure how I would go about contacting Mr. Meadows, but if you are reading, I would love to be involved in any of your future projects, even if it was for free, and as an extra! It is wonderful to see so many people appreciating this kind of work, and I hope the film is as thought-provoking as it has been for me. The power of the arts in society is unrelenting. It is good to know that whilst people have become disillusioned with politics, social and political films like these have the power to change lives.
