Hello,
I went to see T.I.E for the second time last night, in Warrington of all places, and it was especially good second time round because i got more of a chance to look at the supporting actors, as apposed to the obvious leads, who are obviously shit hot aswell like.
I think one of the biggest reasons that its so good, is the casting, right down to little extras, lad who played Kez, gadge and puke especially, because despite not having massive speaking parts, you always knew they were there, and all of em acted really well when they were just in the background if ya get me.
Jo hartley was really good, Perry benson was a quote machine, 'I want some choclit', and i was pleased to see Vicky McClure and Andrew Shim acting again.
So anyway, whats next for these actors? I hope they are getting plenty of work off the back of this, and I really hope little Tommy Turgoose doesnt become another Billy Casper from Kes and drift into obscurity because he is a really shit hot little actor!

by the way, it looks like i am referring to kez, gadge and puke as the little extras there, im not, it was just bad grammar!

Hey pretty much everyone you tlak about is on the forums here, well i assume you know that so you can get replies from them? I'm interested too. Tommo has landed a part, if you check the "get in, ha ha" thread you'll find more info there. Oh and Kezz played a part in some film about bullying? I'm sure theres a thread on that one too. Anyway, what else are all you guys doin?

Rrr mate, I seriously can't tell you what you sayin that means to me.. thankyou. Those Facial Reactions/Gestures got me some credit afterall! THANKS MATEY! WELL IM IN THE MIDDLE OF CHANGIN AGENTS, BUT I HAD AN AUDITION ON FRIDAY FOR WATERLOO ROAD AND IM JUST WAITING ON THAT. GADGE! HAHA your fucking kidding me! Don't even tell me you were going for the part of Bolton. Had the Audition last wednesday! Anyway.. erm yeah I'v been quite busy-ish.. I'v done three short films this year.. all of which are exceding there original expectations.. 'Schoolboy' started as my friends short film.. and has now been awarded a place at the Cannes short film festival, aswell as being shown around schools.. 'Peice by Peice' is another short film that shall be shown in schools all over the country in a drugs/weapons/street awareness policy program.. that isn't released till September though. and finally 'Lady Margaret' set for release this Sunday at the DV shorts film festival in Nottingham (Broadway 12:30 if people wanna try and blag there way in), as part of Spool Films yearly project of 8 short films, funded by EM media and other organisations. I'm still waiting on results for Two Features and waterloo road, after flopping my re-call audition for a feature called 'Summer'.. Never mind! I'm hopeful of parts in 3 other projects.. but this is all drunken party talk at this stage.. haha watch this space. (p.s. I'm not up my own arse, just answering the question.)

yeh spot on, good lad. And as for facial expressions, when Banjo comes steamin into the party with the fuck off knife ur shat your pants expression reminded me of a very similar thing that happened to me when i was a youngun!
I have a question, what is the guy who plays banjo like, because, he was scaringly convincing! And also, I've really liked perry benson for years since he played 'bones' in the reallly underated operation goodguys, whats he like?

Perry Benson was a really cool guy, I met him at the LFF and he reccomended me and my gf to go to this chinesse resturant he knew of, spoke to him for about half an hour.
George Newton who plays Banjo was a nice guy, can't remember much about him, i'm sure he was pissed most of the time.

I cud see the lad who played GADGE in some sort of Peter Kay vehicle, as he was very good in his comedy scenes. I can't believe its getting shown in Warrington tho, im surprised its not being boycotted for having a anti skinhead message.

i have to say it too that as id spoken to a few of you on here i may have been paying a little more attention to you than i normally would but a lot of the background stuff really comes to the surface in a lot of shanes films including TIE, little gems of acting brilliance that even though in the background and not necessarily part of the story still stand out and help to add realism to the scenes. I remember one scene and we were focused on 2 chatting and a partly blurred scene in the background caught my eye, sort of a min fight argument, nothing big and i cant even remember which scene or characters were in it but i love it how all this talking is going on and these others are at it in the background oblivious to everyone else.
