Item number: 300112796573 Check ebay for item above I really find that insulting.... its name is This Is England, its about growing up in 1983 in England, and many of us wanting this film did grow up around this time or earlier, yet the USA possibly (region 1-NTSC), gets the DVD release before us? Is there nothing we can have first? Is there nothing that is OURS. Once again I feel robbed that we have to wait, left to the greedy hands of the corporations. I dont care if Mr Shane Meadows makes money, how else would we get to see his masterpieces, but to be released elsewhere on DVD 1st!! Thats always assuming its genuine... although it does have a hologram according to seller so it would appear to be. Ok, thats my gripe for the day, Roll on Sept 2007 !!!! when it will possibly be released on DVD here.

You're having a laugh.
If that DVD is genuine I'll eat a hat (not mine, I don't own any).
Look at the state of the DVD cover design. Lame.
A hologram.. yeah, probably has mickey mouse on it, or is probably one of those foil panini stickers.

Have to agree, I doubt it is genuine... but then who knows, America seems to get everything 1st.

there's no way either of those dvds on ebay are real. The film doesn't get a cinema release in the USA till July so there's no chance they'd release an R1 dvd before that. They're pirated copies

Well according to info in Canada an US that I've found there's not even a listing for T.I.E anywhere, so I doubt that we're getting it first... an it looks to me that the one listed on Ebay seems to be a burnt copy of it no a tru legal copy...

Most definitely fake, this one - just take a look at the strip along the top that proclaims the DVD is mastered in DTS - these strips are rife on prirated discs from the far East and haven't been used on offical DVDs (on feature films, anyway) for years - they were once used by 20th Centurt Fox and Universal in the USA but haven't been seen since the late 90s. Besides, the film would have to have been released in US cinemas before it came out on DVD, and it hasn't. Boycott those pesky pirate motherf------ and see THIS IS ENGLAND in the cinema. NOW.
