No, I'm not talking about Orlando Bloom getting back at Tomo for drawing that penis on his forehead....
I don't know if anyone has noticed but the entire film of This Is England has been posted up on YouTube in 10 parts (approximately 10 minutes each) by someone called Redgorilla75
I don't know if there is anything that can be done about it, but it would be a real shame if everyone saw the film for free.
I want the film to be a huge box office success so:
1: Robert Carlyle will have to eat his words
2: Shane has to do a sequel
3: because Shane fuckin deserves it!
Now, the guy says he had to put it up because the film is so brilliant he wants everyone to see it. I agree with him, but not if it is going to hurt the film.
Just thought you all should know.

Unfortunately he aint the only one who has the entire film to download for free.. there is are around 4 american sites, that I have come across, (will not mention the name of them) which have it ready to dowload. Unfortunately, it is so tempting to download them - I've seen the film twice in the cinema and want to see it again..and again... so far I have not given into dowloading it... not long to the DVD...?

Dont post the web address then if you feel so strongly about it. There are a lot of new members on here that wouldnt think twice about visiting the site and downloading it. Dont spread the word. To be honest it seems to me like you wanted to advertise the fact.

my intention was to let Shane and the team at Warp know so they could hopefully use their legal muscle to get it removed.
I e-mailed IFC FILMS, the U.S. distributor of the film to let them know, so hopefully they could get their legal department on it. They have already e-mailed mt back thanking me and asuring me that they would "get right on it."
I was not trying to advertise it. I think that is clear from my lext and why I referred to them as "Pirates" in my heading.
I certainly don't want people seeing it for free. I am a theatre owner who is scheduled to run the film theatrically this August. If everyone pirates the film, I'm out of business.

It's in New Orleans, Louisiana. See the Save the date thread here on the forum.

I thought you meant that you are putting on a play based on This is England. It looks like you are showing the films in your theatre.

Sorry for the confusion
must be because I never can tell the difference between using theater vs. theatre
yes, I can't wait to screen the film
I think it is going to blow people away.
It's pretty darn powerful!

Apologies to you fatself, I just thought it was a bit silly to put the site on. I can see now that your intentions were honourable.

To be perfectly honest that was how I originally saw the film... It was downloaded an sent to me by a friend after my husband had seen the film on a trip back home to Manchester an raved about it, and since I couldn't go up there to see that was my only alternitive since it doesn't seem to be showing (nor is it in the upcomin listes (as of yet) around here... I haven't since made copies of the film nor sent it to others (ano that's not much since the way I've seen it is against the rules an all) but I fully intend on buying the film when it comes out on DVD as I have done with DMS and OUATITM and I would love to see it in theaters if it eva comes to my area... I don't like how I originally saw the film but I'm glad I did cause it's an amazing film an I wouldn't have even known of Shane's films nor would I have had looked into buying his otha work had I not seen it... so if nothing else I saw TIE free, but he's sold at least 2 other films cause of it, so it can't be that bad eh ?
