Nice!! £27 - Fours films from critcally-acclaimed British filmmaker Shane Meadows. Includes TWENTY FOUR SEVEN, A ROOM FOR ROMEO BRASS, DEAD MAN'S SHOES and THIS IS ENGLAND. Shame it not a complete boxset though. Although through the course of lending them out id lost RFRB and DMS. Good excuse to re-buy. Although I should really hunt the DVD borrowing thieves down too.

hmmm doesn't say if its going to be subtitled yet. Found out the cost of putting subtitles onto DVD from another site It's a 'per programme minute' cost, somewhere in the region of £10.00 per programme minute per language And all Shane Meadows films won the award on Hall of Shame from DVD-subtitle website

Hmm, i see it as kind of a shame that Midlands isn't in there too. I suppose if it was gonna be in there then it'd rather be the re-edit that shane wants to do.
Great to know the official release date of TIE though! CANNOT WAIT!

Great news. Looking forward to this. I'm sure there will be some good extras on there to boot.

I thought subtitles were standard on most discs. Seems a real shame if you can't watch any of his films. I don't really know what I'm talking about but isn't there a plug in type thing for subtitles on TV/DVD etc?

Can't be released on the 18th of July, mate, that's a Wednesday. The 16th (my birthday!) is the nearest Monday to it. Seems a bit soon for the DVD to be out though?

Play.com did have the DVD listed for the 15th of July a month ago. But now they have rectified that to the 3rd of September.... a date Comp has been telling us since about the 11th of May! haha
