I don't remember it in the film, but I think someone said it somewhere on the DVD.

Was so jazzed up for the film and I did really like it, but I've only watched it about three times compared to the double figures of 24-7, DMS and ARFRB. i can't put my finger on why I don't love it as much as Mr Meadows other work save OUATITM probably the absence of Mr considine (but why should they act like siamese twins?).
Ignore me I'm talking bollocks

The only thing Id change is Woody saying something like "See ya Tubbs" to Gadget as he's leaving Smell's birthday party.
AFAIK this was the first time Woody and Gadget had seen each other since being at Combo's flat (when Gadget chose to stay with Combo and had a go at Woody for calling him Tubbs), so it just seemed a bit strange that Woody would call Gadget 'Tubbs' the first time they'd seen each other since.
Hope that makes sense!

Not really the sort of thing you'd do to a mate tho is it? Especially after they'd distanced themselves from you for doing it...
If he'd said it in a nasty way I could see he was maybe doing it to wind Gadget up, but he said it in a friendly way...

On the excellent soundtrack I think the only way it could be improved would be to include a Specials song at some point. It'd be so apt, given the Specials really eptomised an inner-city urban struggle in their music and lyrics.
Plus the film really evokes "Ghost Town" in me 'ead.

I thing that 'Please Please Please' is one of the best moments of the film.
I truley love Gavins version better than Morrisey's and im a Manc.
Its amazing! Very moving, beautiful. (But not as beautiful as my little boy)!

That shot of the wall was a bit weird, I have to admit. It just kinda appears but then you have to think if you had nothing else better to do, you hung about near walls. All the kids did it in the 80's. Not that I was alive for most of it but there you go. Specials were Two-Tone not really Skinhead music However racists did go to their shows and give the singer a bit of stick because he was, well, you know, black. This ended up with the rest of the band jumping off stage and beating them up with a Les Paul.

Specials were Two-Tone not really Skinhead music Yeah, I understand that. Still, the film's soundtrack isn't a 100% skinhead soundtrack, is it? The "Please, Please Let me..." is a cover and about as far away from skinhead music as you can get. I just thought that The Specials were kinda of symbolic in that inner city estate struggle and their songs were very relative.

I'm sure there was a lot of cross over with what people were listening to

Tell you what, why don't we get Tony Yeboah to just re-cut the film for Shane? It'll obviously be an absolute f***ing masterpiece after he's had his hands on it.
May have to leave your bedroom first though Tony!!
